DESCRIPTION

Under general direction, to provide professional, administrative and technical services to the Alameda County Fire Department or other agencies in support of Alameda County Fire Department projects, in the areas of planning, designing, organizing or evaluating special programs or projects; coordinating and conducting a variety of sophisticated research and operational studies; to assist professional staff with administrative support; and to do related duties as required.


DISTINGUISHING FEATURES

Incumbents in this class are responsible for providing professional, administrative, and technical services for special projects or programs in support of the Alameda County Fire Department as a Special District of Alameda County.

Incumbents may work independently and are involved in planning and facilitating the implementation of a variety of special programs, studies and projects. Specific responsibilities are determined within the Alameda County Fire Department or department/agency where the incumbent is assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Appropriate education and experience will be determined for each position in this class on the basis of duties and responsibilities undertaken.
