Under general supervision, to assist with various aspects of an election cycle; performs support activities associated with the preparation for and conduct of elections; and related duties as required. DISTINGUISHING FEATURES
This classification of Election Worker I– Services-As-Needed is located in the Alameda County Registrar of Voters department and is responsible for providing election support duties in an effort to successfully complete election functions. Incumbents may be asked to perform several types of election duties that consist of serving as a Captain, Assistant Captain, or Election Worker at a specified vote center. This classification will be expected to work up to four (4) days supporting the county election functions.
