Under general direction, on a consultative basis, to provide specialized services assisting, planning, organizing, or evaluating specific Health Department projects; to assist the staff in professional development; and to do related work as required.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES Health Services Consultants are used on an hourly basis providing specific services that are not otherwise available to the Health Department. The Consultants typically give lectures, coordinate surveys, interpret reports, provide special services, and act as an advisor to or coordinator of a special, short-term project requiring an individual with a specific background. |
