Thank you for your interest in the Auditor-Appraiser I recruitment, Examination #18-2705-01. Applicants for this position are required to submit responses to the following supplemental questions. Your completed responses to the supplemental questionnaire
will be evaluated to determine your qualifications and must be completed properly in order to be given full consideration for the next phase in the selection process and to further verify minimum qualifications.

A lack of detail and explanation in the supplemental questions and in your application may result in failure or disqualification for this position. A resume will not be accepted as a substitute for properly completed responses.

To be considered for this position, applicants must be qualified to perform audits. Using the criteria below, please type "1, 2, 3, or 4" in the space provided to identify the means by which you qualify.

1. Possession of a bachelor's degree with a major in accounting from an accredited college or university.

2. Possession of a bachelor's degree with a specialization in accounting defined as minimum of 18 units in accounting courses that included 6 units of basic/introductory accounting and 6 units of intermediate accounting,
together with 3 units of auditing and/or 3 units of federal/state tax and/or 3 units of cost accounting and/or 3 units of advanced accounting. The unit requirements herein are expressed as semester units. Equivalent quarter units are
acceptable. Courses in business law, economics, or related areas DO NOT satisfy the requirements of R&TC, Section 670[d].

3. Possession of a license to do practice as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of California.

I understand that in addition to qualifying for a temporary appraiser's certificate issued by the California State Board of Equalization at the time of appointment, I must also pass an appraiser's certification examination administered by
the California State Board of Equalization within twelve months of appointment to this classification to obtain a permanent appraiser's certificate.

I understand that to qualify for this examination process, I must provide acceptable proof of meeting the minimum qualifications as described in the job posting. Acceptable documentation must be submitted by the Last Date of Filing at 5:00 PM. I further understand that I am responsible for attaching copies of any documents which demonstrate meeting minimum qualification for this position.
