Candidates for this examination must have normal hearing and eyesight, including depth perception and freedom from color and night blindness. To your knowledge, do you meet this requirement?  

Candidates for this examination must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and open steel bridge structures up to 180 feet and work in counterweight pit areas to 40 feet below the estuary water level. Do you meet this requirement?

Candidates for this examination must be available to work rotating shifts, some holidays and weekends. Do you meet this requirement?

This position will require working with and around various petroleum based lubricants. Are you able to work with these types of materials?

Please describe your experience and training which relates to the operation of drawbridges or other types of bridges.

Describe your experience operating other types of mechanical equipment.

Describe your experience and training working with Electrical systems.

All Candidates must submit evidence from DMV showing the current status of their driving record and proof of having a clean driving record for the previous three (3) years.
