In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications you must meet the  Lead Poisoning Prevention Specialty designation criteria. (Please describe your experience in the following areas:)

  1. Directly managing health and housing programs that include the following.
  2. Direct administration of HUD grants.
  3. Medical and environmental management of lead poisoned children.
  4. Providing environment assessment  and education activities.

Describe in detail your management style and discuss situations where you have succeeded as a leader and where you have failed along with what you learned. In addition, provide examples of how you deal with staff with different work styles and approaches.

Please discuss your experience in policy development, and provide specific examples of your work in developing policy in public health or environmental health.

Describe your experience in developing and implementing environmental health, housing (Lead, Healthy Homes) or Public Health programs. Discuss the process you used in developing, implementing and monitoring programs.

Describe any experience in seeking, developing and garnering innovative strategic funding sources.

Discuss in detail experience in designing and implementing continuous quality improvement programs. Please describe your process and provide examples.
