Thank you for your interest in the position of Program/Financial Specialist. Applicants for this position are required to submit responses to the following supplemental questions. Your completed response to this supplemental questionnaire will be evaluated to determine your qualifications and must be completed properly in order to be given full consideration for the next phase in the selection process. Additionally, your responses will also be evaluated and used in the selection process to identify the best-qualified applicants.

Describe your experience conducting program planning and evaluation, program administration and/or contract and grants management work.

Describe your experience working with procurement. In your response, describe your experience in preparing Request for Quotes (RFQ), Request for Proposals (RFP), evaluating bid results, awarding contracts and/or other procurement related tasks.

Describe your experience related to fiscal management of federal and state-funded contracts, budgeting, financial tracking, and reporting.  Please include experience you have preparing financial, narrative, and technical documents (protocols, board letters, contracts, preparing backup documentation for audit or review, etc.). In your response, provide an example of a document you had to design and were responsible for putting together and/or present.

Program/Financial Specialists often work as liaison between the financial, program, and community-based organization staff.  Describe your experience working in a multidisciplinary environment and collaborating with a team in support of program goals.  Your example may include fiscal interphases with community-based organizations or technical consultation/assistance.
