Thank you for your interest in the Accounting Specialist II position. Applicants for this position are required to submit responses to the following supplemental questions.  Your completed responses to the supplemental questionnaire will be evaluated to determine your qualifications and must be completed properly in order to be given full consideration for the next phase in the selection process. Additionally, your responses will also be evaluated and used in the selection process in order to identify the best qualified applicants. 

Responses should be thorough and specific. A lack of detail and explanation in the supplemental questions and in your application may result in failure or disqualification for this position. Clarity of expression, content, experience, grammar, spelling and the ability to follow instructions will be considered in the evaluation process. I possess the equivalent of one year of experience as an Accounting Specialist I in the Alameda County classified service. (Option 1)
I possess the equivalent to completion of two years of college (90 quarter or 60 semester units) from an accredited college or university in a bookkeeping or accounting curriculum AND the equivalent of two years of full-time bookkeeping experience at a level equivalent to the Accounting Specialist I classification which included some combination of document review and processing, administrative or financial record keeping and/or office management. (Option 2)
I possess the equivalent of at least four years of full-time bookkeeping experience at a level equivalent to the Accounting Specialist I classification which included some combination of document review and processing, administrative or financial record keeping and/or office management. (Option 3)
I do not meet any of the required qualifications above.
