Under direction, to pick up, sort and deliver intra County and other mail, correspondence, records and small amounts of supplies and other materials to County and other offices; and to do related work as required.
Messengers are assigned to drive light vans on specific routes throughout the County or work on foot delivering mail and supplies from office to office within specific County complexes or buildings, such duties constituting the totality of the position. 2) A review of the supplemental questionnaire to further verify knowledge, skill and ability.
3) An oral interview which will be weighted as 100% of the candidate's final examination score. The oral interview may contain situational exercises.
