THE POSITION
Under direction of department management, Senior Infrastructure Services Analysts monitor various infrastructure. Senior Infrastructure Services Analysts may be responsible for; staff supervision, network; servers; unified communications; Cloud-based services; database technologies; GIS; enterprise Tool Administration; mainframe; information security, or endpoint management; and perform other related duties as required.

THE CURRENT VACANCIES
We are filling multiple Senior Analyst positions overseeing varying
infrastructure technologies. These
technical areas of responsibility can include network; servers; unified
communications; Cloud-based services; database; GIS; Enterprise Tools
Administration; DevOps; mainframe; information security; or endpoint
management.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications the ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent technical knowledge and skills, planning, customer service, problem solving, and decision making.
EITHER I
Experience:
The equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in the class of Infrastructure Services Analyst in the Alameda County classified service.
OR II
Experience:
The equivalent of three (3) years of full-time increasingly responsible infrastructure experience (in one or more of the areas described in the Description section), that included design and implementation of enterprise systems requiring documentation and project management. (Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one year of experience.)
