EXAMINATION. The eligible list resulting from this
examination will cancel any existing list and may last approximately one year
but can be extended.
SUPPLEMENTAL QUESTIONNAIRE: A
properly completed Supplemental Questionnaire must be submitted with each
application. Failure to submit the Application or Supplemental Questionnaire
will result in disqualification. Applications and Supplemental Questionnaires
must be in the possession of the Human Resource Services Department by 5:00 p.m. on the Last Day for Filing.

THE
POSITION:
Under general
supervision, to perform complex accounting clerical work in connection with
maintaining or reviewing financial records, and to do related work as required.
Positions allocated to this class are distinguished from those allocated to the
class of Account Clerk I by performing, on a regular basis, one of the

VACANCIES
The immediate vacancies for this position are currently located within the Social Services Agency, Department of Child Support Services, Alameda County Health, County Library, and Sheriff's Office. The eligible list resulting from this recruitment and selection process may be utilized to fill future vacancies in other department/agencies within the county.
Either I
The
equivalent of one year of experience in the class of Account Clerk I or in an
equivalent or higher level clerical class.
Or II
The
equivalent of two years of responsible financial record keeping experience.
(Completion of a bookkeeping or accounting curriculum in a recognized business
or accredited junior college may be substituted for the required experience on
a year-for-year basis.)
NOTE: The Civil Service Commission may modify the above Minimum Qualifications in the announcement of an examination.
