In the Department of Developmental Services this class is accountable for assisting the Developmental Services Regional Residential Manager in the implementation and management of programs for individuals in agency community and campus residential settings or in the development and management of contracts for private community living arrangements.
This class is used to assist Developmental Services Regional Residential Managers in department operated programs serving fifty or more individuals or to assist in private community residential services serving one hundred twenty-five or more individuals.
Receives administrative direction from the Developmental Services Regional Residential Manager or other administrative official of higher grade.
Directs or assists in direction of professional and direct care staff assigned to the program.
Two (2) years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a residential program for individuals with an intellectual disability in a direct care or clinical services setting.
NOTE: For state employees this experience is interpreted at the level of a Developmental Services Residential Program Supervisor 1, Psychology Associate Specialist (RC), Developmental Specialist 2 or Developmental Services Case Manager.
