In the Department of Children and Families this class is accountable for administering the clinical and administrative programs and operations of the Albert J. Solnit Children's Psychiatric Center.
Ten (10) years of professional experience working with or on behalf of children, youth, and families in one or more of the following areas: delivery of residential or institutional services, mental health, child welfare, juvenile justice or correctional services, pediatrics, nursing, K-12 public education, social or developmental services or law.
Five (5) years of the General Experience must be in a managerial capacity.
NOTE: Managerial capacity is defined as having responsibility for policy setting, resource allocation, interdisciplinary service planning, coordination of service delivery, and program administration.
Appointed by the Commissioner of Children and Families in accordance with Section 17a-9(c) of the Connecticut General Statutes.
