In the Department of Administrative Services this class is accountable for directing and planning the operations of multiple Project Management teams.
Receives executive direction from the Deputy Commissioner or other administrative official of higher grade.
Ten (10) years of experience in the design and construction of commercial, industrial or institutional building projects.
Two (2) years of the General Experience must
have been managing, directing and overseeing the entire operation of assigned
design and construction projects from initial plans through design and
construction to occupancy of facilities and post-occupancy evaluations.
NOTE: For state employees this experience is
interpreted at the level of a Construction Services Assistant Director of Project Management.
