In the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection this class is accountable for independently performing a full range of tasks in collecting, reviewing and reconciling Geographic Information Systems data for usage by local, state, regional and federal authorities in emergencies.
Works under the general supervision of the Geographic Information Systems Coordinator or other employee as assigned.
May lead lower level employees as assigned.
Four (4) years of experience working with Geographic Information Systems.
College training may be substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen (15) semester hours equalling one-half (1/2) year of experience to a maximum of two (2) years.
