PURPOSE OF JOB CLASS (NATURE OF WORK)
In the Department of Administrative Services administers and directs the activities of the Claims Commission.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
The Claims Commissioner must be an attorney-at-law and must have been admitted to practice before the courts of the State of Connecticut for at least five years prior to their appointment.
APPOINTMENT
Nominated by the Governor with the advice and consent of the General Assembly pursuant to section 4-142a of the Connecticut General Statutes.
