In the Department of Aging and Disability Services, Board of Education and Services for the Blind on an itinerant basis, provides special instruction in braille and related subjects to visually handicapped students in public schools.
Works under the general supervision of an Education Consultant 2 (Blind) or an employee of higher grade who reviews work for effectiveness and conformance with policy.
A Bachelor's degree with at least twelve (12) semester hours in courses applicable to the blind or partially-sighted.
Possession of a certificate in special education in the area of teaching the blind or partially-sighted issued by the State Board of Education.
