In the Department of Administrative Services, Division of Construction Services this class is accountable for directing the Construction Process Management unit.
Incumbents in this class are directly responsible for managing project processes for capital construction administration. Incumbents are responsible for development of scope of work for construction projects managed by the Department of Administrative Services.
Receives administrative direction from an administrative official of higher grade.
Ten (10) years of professional experience in planning and implementing public capital projects or responsibility for legislative and regulatory programs.
Two (2) years of the General Experience must have been in a management capacity with significant responsibility for administering grants or bond process management or legal tasks related to the legislative process and interfacing with key policy makers, state legislative and executive administrative officials.
NOTE: Management capacity is defined as formulating program goals and objectives, developing and implementing program procedures, initiating program policies and personnel management including training of employees.
