In the Department of Administrative
Services this class is accountable for directing facilities planning activities
and technical services by coordinating the development, preparation, review and
implementation of the statewide facility and capital plan.
Receives administrative
direction from an administrative official of higher grade.
Directs staff of section.
Ten (10) years of
experience in the design, construction, engineering or project management for
large scale commercial real estate facilities.
NOTE: Large scale
commercial real estate is interpreted as large multimillion dollar apartment
complexes, public institutions, industrial building complexes and/or other
building projects of similar size and scope. (Residential developments, small
commercial and/or industrial building projects do not meet the Experience and
Training requirement).
Two (2) years of the
General Experience must have been in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
