In the Office of Health Strategy this class is accountable for administering statewide program and operational initiatives to transform and align providers, consumers, employers, payers and state leaders around healthcare reforms.
Receives administrative direction from the Commissioner or the Deputy Commissioner of Health Strategy.
Administers programs and operations of Healthcare Innovation unit; directs all staff.
Five (5) years of experience in an administrative capacity in the management of a large public health or health insurance program.
NOTE: Administrative capacity is defined as having personnel management responsibility for an entity with programmatic budget responsibility of at least $2,000,000.
An advanced degree in public health, health care management/administration, health insurance administration, health care planning, nursing, psychology, medicine or a related health care field is required.
