Administers and directs the activities of the Department of Insurance.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
The Insurance Commissioner shall not be a director, officer, or agent of an insurance company.
APPOINTMENT
Appointed by the Governor in accordance with the provisions of Sections 4-5 through 4-8 and 38a-7 of the Connecticut General Statutes.
