In the Labor Department, Employment Security Division this class is accountable for interviewing claimants for Unemployment Compensation benefits and assisting in the determination of eligibility for benefits on an intermittent basis reflecting agency need.
Works under the general supervision of an employee of higher grade.
Graduation from high school and two (2) years of employment in responsible clerical or public contact work, human resources development or community action programs.
College training may be substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen (15) semester hours equalling one half (1/2) year of experience to a maximum of two (2) years.
Incumbents in this class may be required to travel.
