In the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection this class is accountable for supervising the professional, technical and clerical staff and activities of a section within an energy branch.
Receives general direction from an administrative official of higher grade.
Supervises professional and technical staff engaged in technical analysis which may include engineers, finance specialists, rate specialists, utilities examiners, research analysts, associate research analysts, economists, Connecticut Careers Trainees, accounts examiners and/or other staff as assigned.
Nine (9) years of professional experience in cable television (CATV), electric, gas, gas pipeline safety, telecommunications or water utilities, or policies and programs related to energy supply, broadband, energy efficiency, or building or transportation decarbonization.
