The State of Connecticut Department of Transportation (DOT) has an Information Technology Analyst 1/ Desktop Support position available in the Department of Technology Services.

Position Details:
· Full-time, 40 hours per week

Desktop Services: Diagnoses and resolves PC and simple software problems using a variety of diagnostic tools; uses diagnostic tools to identify hardware and/or software problems and initiates repair; rebuilds PCs and reconfigures user specific settings; installs new software releases of simple to moderate complexity; coordinates installation of and installs, modifies and maintains network components and PC hardware and/or software; assists in implementation of network and/or system hardware and software upgrades and/or enhancements; configures and installs terminal emulation software for host connection; performs related duties as required.
Main duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Analyze and resolve incidents and requests regarding use of application software or hardware. Logs and tracks incidents and requests from identification through resolution.
• Follows up with other support staff involved in resolution to ensure incidents are resolved
• After evaluation, elevate complex problems to the appropriate support team and provide documentation or information related to the problem
• Deployment and upgrades of desktop computers and mobile computers as needed.
• Desktop computers and mobile computers reimages and software installation.
• Hardware installation, troubleshooting and repair
• Support Microsoft Office products, M365, Azure and Windows 10.
Knowledge with Azure, SCCM, VB Script, Power Shell, Office 365, Windows 10, Microsoft teams, CAD software (Bentley), and Footprints a plus.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
