In the State of Connecticut, Tunxis Community College (TXCC) is a constituent unit of the Board of Regents for Higher Education (BOR), Connecticut State Colleges and Universities (CSCU) established in 1970 by an act of the Connecticut state legislature as the twelfth institution in the Connecticut state community college system. The CSCU provides access to academically rigorous and innovative education and training focused on student success. Our core collective responsibility is to continuously assess practices and policies, and transform the world we live in by eliminating inequities.
The college supports excellence in teaching and learning, makes data-informed decisions, promotes equity, advances positive change for the students, communities and industries it serves, as well as awards associates degrees and certificates. The majority of our students are focused on completing their studies at Tunxis and transferring to a 4-year institution.
We are currently recruiting for two (2) Custodian positions to work at Tunxis Community College in Farmington, CT. These positions are full-time, Monday through Thursday, 9pm - 5am and Friday 2pm - 10pm, with overtime on Saturdays, as needed. The incumbents in these roles will be responsible for ensuring that building sanitation and cleanliness is maintained at the highest standards.
