Each of the more than 500 staff who work in the Office of the Attorney General are dedicated to serving all Delawareans with integrity and passion.
Deputy Attorneys General, with critical support from criminal special investigators, victim service specialists, paraprofessionals, and administrative staff, prosecute criminal cases, enforce consumer laws, provide counsel to state agencies, ensure the public's access to open government, protect the abused, and much more.
The Delaware Department of Justice is looking for a dedicated and highly motivated individual to serve as a Deputy Attorney General in the Forfeiture Unit of the Criminal Division. Although the Forfeiture Unit oversees cases statewide, this position is based in Kent County at 102 West Water Street, Dover.
This position has been established in response to Delaware House Bill 280, an act to amend Titles 11 and 16 of the Delaware Code regarding Civil Asset Forfeiture. The selected candidate will play a critical role in implementing and supporting the provisions of this legislation, prosecuting drug and violent crimes and civil forfeiture cases in Kent County.

Pay Grade A16 DAG III Salary Range $96,997/min $99,129/max
Pay Grade A18 DAG IV Salary Range $106,626/min $108,737/max
Pay Grade A20 DAG V Salary Range $118,238/min $122,920/max
