Incentive for
Economic/Fiscal Analyst or Economic/Fiscal Senior Analyst
The Delaware Department of Finance recognizes the Economic/Fiscal Analyst or Economic/Fiscal Senior
Analyst plays a critical role at our agency. For that
reason, we are now providing monetary recruitment incentives for this position
in accordance with our Recruitment Program Policy and Procedures.
Hiring Incentive– $6,000
· $3,000.00 incentive
paid after completion of month 6 and again at month 12. Employee must have been
in an active payroll status after the last day of incentive period.
Incentives are paid in installments as noted above. Must be a
new hire to the State of Delaware.
NOTE: You will receive more information during the hiring process. This
program is administered by the Department of Finance Human Resource
Department. The program may be terminated by Finance at any time with or
without notice.
The successful candidate will report to the Director of
Research and Analysis. The position is responsible for researching and
analyzing complex economic, legislative, and fiscal policy issues, focusing on
tax policy and revenue forecasting. The position may oversee or direct special
projects on behalf of the Department and will work with the State's fiscal
leadership teams, financial officials of other states, and private-sector
entities to keep abreast of economic conditions, which may significantly affect
the state's financial position. This
position prepares and presents economic and revenue forecasts and analyses to
the Delaware Economic Forecasting Advisory Council for use in determining the
state's current and projected financial picture.
