The Fiscal Associate II shall apply bookkeeping principles
and practices to record, review and process a variety of financial
transactions, records and documents and maintain required files. Work includes
verifying codes and other information, classifying, calculating, computing,
recording, posting, reconciling, summarizing and reporting on financial data.
Primary work is transactional in nature and includes entering, updating,
modifying, deleting, retrieving and reporting on data in automated information
systems and computer software, and gathering information for higher-level
staff. Work also includes answering procedural inquiries, preparing
correspondence and distributing documents, requiring the use of standard office
equipment.

This position is a classification organized under an exclusive bargaining representative (labor organization) that has been elected by employees as their representative for collective bargaining and other applicable terms and conditions of employment, in accordance with Title 29, Chapter 59 and Title 19, Chapter 13 and 16. This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement based on its individual terms.
