Become part of a dynamic team leading Classification for the State of Delaware, Department of Human Resources.
We are searching for the top-level Administrator of our Statewide Classification function to be in strategic partnership with Compensation and Talent Acquisition.
This
human resource professional administers the State of Delaware’s Classification
function, including the development, management, and implementation of job
descriptions, job requirements, and all classification requests, ensuring
equity and compliance statewide. Employees serve as recognized expert on job
analysis, job evaluation, and classification processes, laws, rules, and
regulations for the State. The employee in this position supervises a
staff of analysts, through management, responsible for critical
reclassifications and other classification requests. In addition, this position
administers large-scale classification projects including Maintenance Reviews.
Duties include strategic planning at the State level, establishing short and
long-term goals and objectives, as well as best practices to maximize
resources, effectiveness, and compliance. Skill in technical writing and
attention to detail is required.
Please note
the selected candidate can choose to work in Kent or New Castle County.
Three years of professional human resource experience AND a Statewide Human Resource Certification or professional human resource certification.
