This position reports to the North District Hazardous Materials Section. Perform plan reviews of Capital Projects and property acquisitions and compare them to known impaired sites. Oversee work with DelDOT Environmental Consultants in remediation tasks or investigations. Attends Pre-Construction or field meetings as needed. Review Environmental Consultants' work product and process/approve invoices. This position must be available to work overtime as needed, without advance notice. Respond to emergency incidents involving hazardous materials releases. Act as liaison between DelDOT Maintenance personnel and DNREC's Emergency Response Team.
