The incumbent is responsible for assisting with supervising public service staff in the daily operations of the Wilmington office location. The position assists staff with the application of complex fiscal/financial/auditing functions in connection with reviewing and processing documents. The position also assists taxpayers in person or over the phone to assist with the resolution of any outstanding tax issues. Advanced technical knowledge and the ability to apply complex state and federal laws, rules, and regulations to evaluate taxpayer accounts and respond to taxpayer questions is desired. In addition, the incumbent will develop and implement training programs to provide staff with required technical skills.
