The Office of Unclaimed Property's State Accountant II
Securities position plays a crucial role in our agency by managing and
monitoring securities reported and remitted by holders. The incumbent will be
responsible for providing customer service to internal and external customers
by processing transactions such as sales of stock, dividends payments, and
corporate actions with a high degree of precision per state law in a
high-volume production unit.
Selective Requirements must be
met in addition to the job requirements. Applicants who do not possess
the selective requirement will not be qualified.
1. Knowledge of accounting using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Applicants who do not possess the preferred qualification will still be eligible to compete for this position if job requirements are met.
1. Do you have six months of experience in reconciling, transferring and liquidating securities such as notes, stocks, bonds or participation in profit sharing agreements?
