The Department of Natural Resources
and Environmental Control (DNREC) offers a free Weatherization Assistance
Program to help establish comfortable, energy-saving homes. The program, run
through the Division of Climate, Coastal and Energy, helps homeowners and
renters cut their energy bills by weatherproofing and improving the energy
efficiency of their homes.

This posting is for a Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) position that will be responsible for supporting programs and initiatives that promote energy efficiency in low-income households throughout Delaware. In addition, this position supports installed weatherization measures in homes to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to mitigate the effects of climate change. Specific projects include tracking completed units, quarterly reporting to the Department of Energy, analyzing and assessing data and processing invoices associated with the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP).
