This position serves as a strategic planner for Public Health Informatics and works closely with the Data Modernization team to coordinate planning activities, policies, and procedures for the Bureau. It will serve as the subject matter expert in data modernization and informatics to determine compliance with program goals and objectives including Public Health’s Disease Surveillance system, DELI. This position manages standard operating processes and supports the change control process during system enhancements or upgrades. Additionally, this role provides essential support to a major infectious disease surveillance system, helping to ensure that it aligns with current public health goals and technology advancements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS for Planner IV
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
Experience in serving as a subject matter expert in data modernization and informatics to determine compliance with program goals and objectives including surveillance systems and/or DELI.
