LOCATION OF POSITION
MDH, Deputy Secretary for Health Care Finance, Baltimore, MD
Main Purpose of Job
This position will function as the Executive level personal secretary and assistant to the Deputy Secretary for Health Care Financing & Medicaid and provide administrative support to the Directors of Medical Care Programs. This position will also be responsible for technical writing, executive level calendar management and operation based organizational duties.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified candidates must possess a bachelor's degree from accredited college or university, at least five years of experience performing administrative support to a senior level administrator or executive level staff and at least 2 years of experience with executive level calendar management.
Candidates may substitute additional experience in administrative staff or professional work on a year-for-year basis for the required education.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The desired candidate should possess the following:

Experience working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders; to include MDH Staff, Legislative staff, the general public, vendors, and Maryland constituents;

Excellent verbal/written communication skills;

Excellent organizational/time management skills;

The ability to work independently and provide a high level of productivity.
