POSITION DUTIES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Three years of experience in administrative staff or professional work.
Notes:
1. Candidates may substitute 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university for each year of the required experience.
2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer involving staff work requiring regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting rules and regulations in accordance with agency laws and policies on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
It is preferred that the selected candidate has the following:
- Strong written, analytical, and oral communication skills;
- Strong computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Adobe, and Excel;
- Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks;
- Experience with generating database reports;
- Experience with providing service to customers in a professional setting which must have included personal interaction with members of the general public or other customers.

SELECTION PROCESS

Applicants meeting the minimum qualifications will be placed on the Eligible List categorized as BEST QUALIFIED, BETTER QUALIFIED or QUALIFIED. Please note that you will be required by the appointing agency to provide proof upon hire of all certifications, licenses, educational and work experiences.
For education obtained outside the U.S., any job offer will be contingent on the candidate providing an evaluation for equivalency by a foreign credential evaluation service prior to starting employment (and may be requested prior to interview).
