Introduction
The Governor’s Office
of Crime Prevention, Youth and Victims Services (GOCPYVS) is Maryland’s
one-stop shop for city and county agency resources to improve public safety in
Maryland.
We provide access to
federal and state grant funds and provide assistance to law enforcement in an
effort to support the Governor’s initiatives to fund the police, for victims
services that protect and support vulnerable Marylanders to help rebuild their
lives, and for children & youth across the state to mitigate adverse
childhood experiences.

POSITION DUTIES

- Supervises grant staff on victim services related grant decisions, policies and requests.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited
college or university.
Experience: Three (3) years' experience in managing and
administering grant programs. One year of this experience must include
supervising and coaching professional staff.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following preferred qualification(s).
- Two (2) years'
experience in managing grant programs associated with victim services.
- Knowledge of grant
program budgeting.
