The Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services (DPSCS) is seeking dedicated candidates to fill important roles within our department. POSITION DUTIES

The primary purpose of this position is to manage and direct the overall quality control and reporting functions for the Office of Procurement. This position is also responsible for working independently to ensure documents issued by the Office of Procurement are professional, cohesive, free of mistakes and arbitrary language, and adhere to federal, state, and local laws and regulations. 

JOB DUTIES :

Manages, administers, and directs all procurement reporting functions to be consistent with Department’s objectives and goals.

Manages, administers, and directs all procurement quality assurance and quality control functions to be consistent with Department’s objectives and goals. 

Leads, mentors, manages and trains Quality Assurance and Reporting staff to promote continuous improvement of personal performance and service to the Department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


Education: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Public Policy or Business Management

Experience: Five years of experience in project management, performance management or business analytics. One year of experience must have been at the managerial or supervisory level.


DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following preferred qualification(s). Include clear and specific information on your application regarding your qualifications.

One  year experience collecting, analyzing, validating contract data information, and assembling statistical narrative data and performing reports.

Two years  experience implementing procurement standards, controls, policies, procedures, and performance metrics. 

Two years experience implementing cost savings programs by conducting spend analysis on all procurement economic manners. 

One year experience developing and implementing procurement-related training programs.
