SENECA CREEK STATE PARK  - SUPPLEMENTAL QUESTIONNAIRE

Please check ALL positions in which you are interested in being considered for and fill out the corresponding supplemental questionnaire (if applicable). Please note that some positions do not require a supplemental questionnaire to be completed.

Supplemental Questionnaire - NATURALIST / HISTORIAN/ MILL OPERATOR

How much experience do you have teaching or providing interpretive programs in a park setting or classroom:

Have you ever had to develop your own lesson plan or create an interpretive program?

Please rate your level of comfort with speaking in front of a crowd.

How much experience do you have with live animal care and handling?

Supplemental Questionnaire -- RANGER

How much experience do you have working or volunteering in a state, national, or
local park setting?

Please indicate which of the following tools and equipment you have experience with operating: 

Please rate your level of comfort with working outdoors in all weather conditions.  

Please rate your level of comfort with working shifts including weekends and holidays which may include very early morning or late evening shifts, as well as working alone on a shift?

Supplemental Questionnaire - CONTACT STATION ATTENDANT

Do you have any experience handling cash and providing a high level of customer service?

This position requires the ability to work a rotating shift.  Shifts may be as long as 8 hours, begin as early as 5:00 a.m. and end as late as 9:30pm.  Are you able to meet this requirement?

This position requires the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift items up to 30 lbs.  Are you able to meet this requirement?

Contact Station Attendants handle large amounts of cash during peak park operations and are responsible for the accuracy of cash and credit card transactions and end of shift reconciliation.  Are you comfortable with this level of cash handling?

Supplemental Questionnaire -- MAINTENANCE

This position requires the ability to work a rotating shift.  Shifts may be as long as 8 hours, begin as early as 5:00 a.m. and end as late as 10:00 p.m.  Are you able to meet this requirement?

Are you comfortable with cleaning restrooms?

How much experience do you have mowing grass or performing grounds-keeping work?

Are you comfortable with cleaning restrooms?

Supplemental Questionnaire – MARINA ATTENDANT

Do you have previous work experience handling cash and providing excellent customer service?

This position requires the ability to stand for long periods of time and repeatedly pull kayaks with boaters out of the water.  Are you able to meet this requirement?

This position requires the ability to work a rotating shift throughout the summer, including holidays. Shifts may be as long as 8 hours, beginning as early as 7:30 a.m. and ending as late as 8:30 p.m. Are you able to meet this requirement?

How much experience do you have working with or dealing with customer service?

How much experience do you have paddling canoes or kayaks or operating gas operated boats?

Have you ever led any canoe or kayak trips?
