Main Purpose of Job

This position is responsible for the day to day management of a regional 24/7 residential behavioral health facility known as the Whitsitt Center. The Whitsitt Center is a 44 bed dual diagnosis inpatient unit providing medically supervised withdrawal management, intermediate care, mental health crisis beds, and grant funded recovery programs and services. The position oversees a budget of about $3 million and a staff of over 50 multi-disciplined professionals. This position ensures quality of care through developing and administering policies and procedures consistent with national accreditation standards.


Qualified candidates must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 6 years of professional experience in the field of health or human services, to include 3 years of supervisory experience.


Desirable candidates will have experience with:

  • managing a multi-disciplinary staff;
  • insurance authorizations and fee for service billing;
  • Behavioral Health National Certification Standards.


This is a Management Service position, and serves at the pleasure of the Appointing Authority.  A resume must accompany your application.
