LOCATION OF POSITION
MDH, Anne Arundel County Department of Health, Annapolis MD 21401
Main Purpose of Job
This position will be responsible for processing birth and death certificates, from calculating fees to verifying and maintaining the supporting documents and preparing daily and monthly transaction reports for the Department. This position also provides administrative support in coordinating the County Vehicle Fleet Program. This position also provides backup support to the Supply/Purchasing Office. This position may be required to drive a county vehicle.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: Two years experience in general services functions, office administration activities or in the receiving, storing, issuance, purchase or requisition of equipment, materials, and parts and supplies.
Notes: 1. Additional experience as stated above may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education.
2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer in logistics specialist classifications or administrative support specialty codes in the logistics field of work, on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The desired applicant should have experience calculating and collecting fees; managing a fleet program; and experience providing customer service.
