Main Purpose of Job
The Registered Dietitian II position is a clinical nutrition position at Deer's Head Hospital Center. The Registered Dietitian is a member of the Interdisciplinary Health Care Team with direct responsibility for assessing, implementing, and maintaining quality nutritional care for patients/residents. The Registered Dietitian is assigned to areas within Deer's Head Center, which includes Chronic Hospital, Comprehensive Care, or Kidney Dialysis.
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
1. Candidates for positions in the classification must possess a current license as a Dietitian/Nutritionist from the Maryland State Board of Dietetic Practice. Please uplaod a copy of your current license ord license verification to application or include license number and expiration date on application.
2. Candidates must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) prior to completion of probationary period and must maintain a current registration during their time of employment. Applicants who are currently registered should submit proof of CDR registration with application.
Employees in this classification may be required to provide the facility with a telephone number at which they can be reached.

The evaluation may be a rating of your application based on your education, training and experience as they relate to the requirements of the position.
