Introduction
The Maryland Commission on Civil Rights (MCCR) is the agency responsible for enforcement of anti-discrimination and civil rights laws for the State of Maryland. MCCR is charged with investigating and administratively processing complaints that allege discrimination in employment, housing, public accommodations and the State's commercial non-discrimination policy.

Main Purpose of Job
Responsibilities include serving as the agency's Workday Timekeeper, Telework Coordinator, BARS Agency Analyst, internal Americans with Disability Act Coordinator, Fair Practices Officer, Equal Employment Opportunity Officer, Minority Business Enterprise Coordinator and liaison for telecommunication services, facilities management, maintenance and janitorial services.
POSITION DUTIES
Duties include coordinating procurement requests for agency purchases and/or training registrations; filling supply requests and orders; inventory control; scheduling interpreter requests; reconciling agency corporate card purchases; entering journal entries in FMIS; creating purchase orders in ADPICS; mailroom operations; assisting with personnel matters; troubleshooting IT issues; and Workday inquiries and/or questions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Completion of 60 credit hours at an accredited college or university.
Experience: One year of experience in administrative or professional work.
Notes:
1. Candidates may substitute experience as defined above for the required education at the rate of one year of experience for 30 credit hours, for up to 60 credit hours of required education.
2. Candidates may substitute 90 credit hours at an accredited college or university for the required education and experience.
3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer involving staff work requiring regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting rules and regulations in accordance with agency laws and policies on a year-for-year basis for the required education and experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience using FMIS and ADPICS.
Experience with MS Office Suite preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Six months experience in data entry.
Ability to multi-task.
Able to comfortably lift up to 20 pounds.
Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational and written skills.
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.
