Main Purpose of Job

This is a highly responsible managerial position in which the incumbent will serve as the Program Integrity Administrator for the Family Investment Administration (FIA) Division. The two components to the position are quality assurance and training. The incumbent will provide and apply expert knowledge of FIA programs by drafting policies and standard operating procedures (SOP) and developing training curriculum for new employees.

POSITION DUTIES

Drafts, recommends and implements policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP'S) as a result of legislative changes.

Monitors and reviews program performance.

Provides information to the Office of Inspector General (OIG) investigators.

Prepares agency for Office of Administrative Hearing (OAH) appeals.

Trains new FIA staff and conducts refresher trainings.

Responds to audit inquiries and drafts and implements corrective action plans.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience: Four years of experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations.

Notes:

1. Additional professional or technical experience in the administration of a human services program or experience conducting studies and analyses of programs, procedures, practices and organizations may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education.

2. Education at the graduate level at an accredited college or university in a human services related field at may be substituted the rate of 30 semester hours per year for up to two years of the required experience.

3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Administrative Officer classifications or Administrative Officer specialty codes in the General, Administrative, Clerical, and Office Services field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Strong preference will be given to applicants that possess the following preferred qualification(s). Include clear and specific information on your application regarding the qualifications.

One or more years of experience in a Family Investment Program.

One or more years experience related to government assistance programs.

One of more years experience in a position related to quality assurance.

One or more years experience supervising staff.

One or more years experience training staff.
