Main Purpose of Job
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from a standard high school or possession of a State high school equivalence certificate.
Experience: Four years of experience in the disposal of surplus equipment, materials and supplies.
Notes:
1. Education at an accredited college or university may be substituted at the rate of 30 semester credit hours for each year of experience, for up to 2 years of the required experience.
2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service
experience as a non-commissioned officer in Supply and Logistics classifications or Supply and Materials Control and Management specialty codes in the supply field of work on a year-for-year basis for the
required experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
1. Experience dealing with the disposal and inventory control of property at any governmental level
2. Experience with proprietary inventory databases

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
SELECTION PROCESS
Only candidates who meet the minimum qualifications will be considered for this classification. Successful candidates will be placed on an eligible list in the BEST, BETTER or QUALIFIED category. The list will be used by the hiring manager to select the individual to fill the vacancy. The list will be valid for one year.
BARGAINING UNIT STATUS
The incumbent in this position is a member of a covered bargaining unit and will be required to pay a bi-weekly service fee to the exclusive representative of the bargaining unit.
