Main Purpose of Job

The primary purpose of this position is to direct and manage provider enrollment, compliance, billing, and claims; ensuring the financial accountability for over $250 million in Medicaid home and community-based services. This position involves engaging provider networks, hosting stakeholder groups and gaining public input, completing required federal reporting; and monitoring contracts and vendors associated with the programs. This position supervises 13 staff for the division, evaluating efficiency of operations and develops new policies, standards, and workflow procedures. This will include: developing, planning, and implementing policies and procedures; serving as a liaison with interested groups, agencies, the legislature, and other divisions and departments regarding community-based long-term services and supports; developing and implementing rules, regulations, standards, and controls for carrying out and completing the goals of the programs; and other related duties.


Qualified candidates must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 6 years of professional health or human service experience, including 3 years of supervisory or management experience.


This is a Management Service position, and serves at the pleasure of the Appointing Authority.  A copy of your resume must accompany your application.
