LOCATION OF POSITION
Main Purpose of Job
This recruitment is for two positions within the Western Maryland Hospital Center. The first position will function as a Hostess/Nutrition Assistant providing onsite servies to enhance the dining experience for the residents by completing select menus, meeting with residents/patients for perferences, likes/dislikes, etc., and ensuring that the sanitation standards are met for the nourishment rooms as well as the temperature refrigerator units. This position will also deliver meal trays and set up dining area for residents/patients meals.
The second position will perform tasks associated with the preparation and service of food to the residents/patients of the Western Maryland Hospital Center and satellite feeding locations. This position will also be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and dinnerware following each meal service.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: None.
Experience: None.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Desired applicant should have experience working with patients and basic knowledge of diets and their consistencies.
