Main Purpose of Job

This position is responsible for dietary department set up for all meals, line preparation, dietary clean up, and documentation of product usage in accordance with prescribed procedures and applicable health and sanitation regulations and standards.

POSITION DUTIES

The incumbent is responsible for breaking down and cleaning up after breakfast and lunch as directed; serving meals from the cafeteria line for breakfast and lunch as directed; and setting up the cafeteria line for breakfast and lunch.  Position will occasionally work the Sunday night dinner shift.  This position requires heavy duty cleaning and lots of standing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: None.

Experience: None.

LIMITATIONS ON SELECTION

Must be willing to learn American Sign Language.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

New hires are subject to a criminal background investigation at their own expense.  (Maryland Code, Family Law Article 1, Sections 5-560-568)

Candidates will need to provide three letters of recommendation.
