Main Purpose of Job
The main purpose of this position is to function as a Data and Practice Transformation Manager to oversee the health information technology (HIT) tools and practice transformation supports for the Maryland Primary Care Program (MDPCP). The Data and Practice Transformation Manager will be responsible for managing and implementing all data solutions necessary for program participants to succeed in the MDPCP. The position will also oversee all staff and consultants providing technical assistance to program participants to transform care delivery. This position is located within the Program Management Office of the Office of the Deputy Secretary, Public Health Services.
Bachelors degree and 3 years of experience directing and coordinating all activities of a program. A Masters degree in a health related discipline, business, or public policy may be substituted for one year of the required experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in the health care field. The successful applicant should be highly knowledgeable about health care transformation, value based payment, primary care, health and hospital systems, and trends in the delivery of health care.
This is a Special Appointment position, and serves at the pleasure of the Appointing Authority. A cover letter and resume must accompany your application.
