Main Purpose of Job

This position serves as the Statewide Director for Provider Relations, leading, planning, and coordinating the staff and activities pertaining to the implementation of a quality provider system for a $790 million service delivery system with over 200 licensed providers. This position will also provide support and technical assistance to DDA approved and licensed providers as well as monitor provider enrollment activities, develop initiatives to meeting the community settings rule, address systemic problems that are identified through these activities and monitor effective utilization of community services.  This position will also provide direction and leadership to the DDA Regional offices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and four years of experience in professional health or human service experience, two of which must be at a supervisory or management level.  The successful applicant must have at least 2 years of provider experience working with individuals with ID. A thorough understanding of the provider requirements is highly desired.

SELECTION PROCESS

This is a Management Service position, and serves at the pleasure of the Appointing Authority.  A resume must accompany your application form.
